With the objective to further the development of blockchain infrastructure and applications in and for Switzerland, Swisscom launched its own blockchain-dedicated daughter firm in September 2017: Swisscom Blockchain AG. I’m very happy to announce that soon after their launch, the company has decided to join our association as a corporate member.
Swisscom Blockchain AG aims to help companies tap into the potential that blockchain enables with a “Blockchain One-Stop-Shop”: a combination of advisory services, solution development and blockchain infrastructure. The wide array of service offerings ranges from enterprise-grade, private permissioned blockchain solutions to end-to-end advisory services for token generating events (also known as ICOs). Building on the strength of Swisscom, the firm further offers secure hosting and highly available infrastructure environments for requirements ranging from blockchain-technology pilots, proof-of-concepts up to fully scaled solutions.
Swisscom Blockchain AG is run by CEO Daniel Haudenschild and is offering its services across industries, with focus on opportunities in the financial services and supply chain.
